Akrapovič Further Extends Its Ducati Range

Akrapovič has increased its range of superb exhausts for Ducati motorcycles with the addition of the Slip-On Line and Evolution Line systems for a number of models.

Regarded as one of the first steps in motorcycle tuning, the Slip-On Line offers a great step towards increasing the performance of any machine. Akrapovič has now added systems for the 2014—2015 Ducati Monster 821, 1200, and 1200S, the 2013—2015 Ducati Hypermotard, and the Ducati Hyperstrada 2013—2015 models.

The Akrapovič Slip-On Line adds more power to this series of machines as well as increasing torque and reducing the weight from the standard system, thanks to Akrapovič's use of high-quality lightweight titanium. Beautifully designed and finished with a titanium and carbon -fibre endcap, the Slip-On Line adds a stylish look to the Ducati range as well as improving overall performance.

Using race-proven material tested in the world of high-class motorsport, the Slip-On Line has also benefitted from extensive sound engineering at the Slovenian factory, adding that unique and distinctive Akrapovič roar to further complement the total sensory enjoyment.

Designed to fit any of the Ducati machines listed above, the system requires one of two additional mandatory link pipes (with or without a catalytic converter) to fit the specific motorcycle. An Akrapovič carbon -fibre heat shield is also available as an optional extra to replace the stock version, which will further enhance the appearance of the exhaust and the bike. Every Slip-On Line system is plug-and-play, so no remapping or other parts are needed, and a comprehensive manual is included to aid installation.

All Akrapovič Slip-On Line systems can be upgraded to a full Evolution Line exhaust system with the addition of an optional Evolution header. Designed and manufactured in-house using high-grade titanium, the Evolution header will further increase power, decrease weight, and add an unmistakable racing sound to the machine.

The Akrapovič range of Slip-On Line and Evolution Line systems for the Ducati Monster, Hypermotard and Hyperstrada are the latest in the Slovenian company's collection of performance exhausts that look and sound great, improve power output, and save weight on the machines, while introducing owners to the first stage of the bike's tuning capabilities.
